Meta Data Deletion
How to request deletion of data PathwAI holds from Meta, and how to check the status of a submitted request.
Last updated: June 8, 2026
1. Overview
PathwAI Labs LLC (“PathwAI”) connects to Meta (Facebook) when customers authorize our platform to manage ad account integrations. If you remove the PathwAI app from your Meta account settings and request deletion of data we received from Meta, Meta sends us a signed data deletion request.
This page explains how those requests are handled and how you can check the status of a request using the confirmation code returned to Meta.
2. What Data PathwAI Receives From Meta
When a business user connects a Meta ad account through PathwAI, we receive OAuth credentials scoped to that organization’s integration. We do not store Meta app-scoped user identifiers in our application database. Conversion data sent to Meta through our CDP is controlled by each customer’s configuration and consent settings.
3. How To Request Deletion Through Meta
To trigger a deletion request through Meta’s platform:
- Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Open Apps and Websites.
- Remove the PathwAI app.
- Click View Removed Apps and Websites, then View next to PathwAI.
- Click Send Request to submit a data deletion request to PathwAI.
Meta’s documentation for this flow is available at Meta Data Deletion Request Callback .
4. What Happens After You Submit A Request
When Meta sends us your request, we acknowledge it immediately and return a confirmation code plus a link to this page. We review whether any records are associated with the Meta user identifier included in the request. If no matching records exist, the request is marked complete.
