PathwAI's Cal.com integration puts a Cal.com booking calendar inside a flow step through the Booking block. The respondent picks a time and books without leaving the flow, with their name and email prefilled from earlier answers if you choose. When the booking succeeds, PathwAI saves the Cal.com booking ID, the calendar link and the booking time on the submission and moves to the next step.
What data moves
- PathwAI to Cal.com: the guest name and email, prefilled from earlier answers or typed values.
- Cal.com to PathwAI: a booking record with booked, the booking ID, the calendar link and the time it was booked.
- The calendar uses your design system's brand and surface colors.
Where it is configured
The Booking step's Connect Cal.com window takes the calendar link, written as username/event-type, and an optional API key for private or managed event types. The step also sets the default view, event details, future dates and guest prefill.

Book right after qualifying
Put the Booking step on the qualified path, so a patient who fits books a consult in the same session.
Different calendars for different paths
Route each program or provider type to its own Booking step with its own event type.
Book after payment
Place the Booking step after a Payment step, which only moves on once the charge succeeds.
How to set it up
- In Cal.com, note the event type path from its URL, for example john/30min.
- Add a Booking step and open Connect Cal.com.
- Paste the calendar link, plus an API key if the event type is private or managed.
- Set Default view and turn on Prefill guest details with {{name}} and {{email}} from earlier steps.
- Preview the flow and make a test booking.
Good to know
- The step has no Continue button. The respondent moves forward by completing a booking.
- Reschedules and cancellations are handled in Cal.com.

Does the respondent leave the flow to book?
No. The Cal.com calendar is embedded in the step, and the flow moves on by itself after the booking.
What is saved on the submission?
That the booking was made, the Cal.com booking ID, the calendar link and the time it was booked.
