PathwAI's Zapier integration works through webhooks. Paste a Webhooks by Zapier catch hook URL into a webhook on a flow's Ending step, and each completed submission is posted to Zapier as JSON with its answers, so a Zap can pass it on to other apps. The Data Platform webhook destination can post individual mapped events, such as flow_started or purchase, to a catch hook the same way.
What data moves
- PathwAI to Zapier, from an Ending webhook: The JSON body holds the submission ID, flow ID and a timestamp, plus the answers keyed by each step's custom key. The cart and the user profile are added when you include them.
- PathwAI to Zapier, from the webhook destination: one request per mapped event, with its name, timestamp, consent state and allowed properties.
- Nothing comes back from Zapier into the flow.
Where it is configured
Ending step webhooks are under the Ending's Events → Exit. The Data Platform webhook destination is under Data → Destinations → Webhook. The rest of the automation is built in Zapier.

How to set it up
- In Zapier, create a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier → Catch Hook as the trigger and copy the hook URL.
- In PathwAI, open the Ending step's Events → Exit, add a webhook with method POST and paste the URL.
- Choose all answers or selected fields, and exclude anything the Zap does not need.
- Complete the flow once so Zapier sees a sample, then build the rest of the Zap.
Good to know
- Ending webhooks run on PathwAI's server once, when a respondent reaches an Ending step and the submission completes. They are not retried, and the request times out after 10 seconds, so the receiving service should answer quickly.
